Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach walk – 7 km

Today was a glorious day of sun, sand, and ocean. i wish everyday was like today. Got up early and headed out to Bondi Beach, its actually really hard to get to by bus from the Northern Beaches so we made it a family outing. We arrived to Bondi around 9:30 a.m. and grabbed some breakfast at a lovely little cafe. I had the some fresh pressed juice and muesli.

We then headed down to the beach around 10:30, it was already so packed. I’m not one for huge crowds but everyone minded their space and it was a lovely atmosphere. The weather was perfect. It was 30 degrees with a lovely breeze off the ocean.

After we soaked up some sun we decided to do the Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach walk. It’s a 7 kilometer walk. I made the mistake of wearing flip flops – that’s a no go, definitely need some running shoes because of the uphill portions and stairs. The walk provided some great views, ocean sprays, and had a really nice concrete walkway. It was quite busy, but we enjoyed it none the less.

From Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach you will visit many beautiful beaches such as: Mackenzies bay, Tamarama Beach, Bronte Beach, Clovelley Beach, Gordon’s Bay, and finally Coogee Beach.

Overall an amazing day. Definitely recommend doing the walk! Remember sunscreen, some sneakers, and pack a picnic because the views are worth the sit.
