Narrabeen Lagoon – 10 kms

Today was a good day. Just as every other day is. Sunday’s for me normally begin with no plans… then I get restless and I have to get out. I started out my day with visiting the local organic markets and purchasing some goodies, got home and had a nap (it was a long week OK?) and then headed out for a little walk.

I bring my Canon T5i with me everywhere, literally, I just love it and always regret when I don’t bring it. So I hoped on a bus and headed to beautiful Narrabeen. A short bus ride from my suburb and got off at the Lagoon.

Narrabeen Lagoon is a magical mixture of palms, vines, spiders, wild flowers, a wonderful lake, and the ever elusive ferns I yearn for. So what better place to head out to? It’s a wonderful bike and walk trail with picnic tables, bathrooms, and it is very well maintained. It is known as a local go to for picnics and fishing outtings.

Here’s what afternoon in Narrabeen looked like in a few photos:

The friendliest locals around. Honestly though, I am obsessed with ducks so I hung with them for a while.

How beautiful is this place! 10 kilometers of lush greenery, lovely walking trails, and exotic wild flowers, it really can’t get much better. Bring water, and sunscreen as per every other walk in Aus!
