lack lustre

I suppose if you treat your time here,

As eternal and lack lustre,

Your life will be just that,

But if you treat it as an adventurous,

Colourful sprint,

Your end will seem eternal,

And time will not trickle like sand in a time glass,

But flow freely like the sand stuck to your sun soaked skin,

Or the sand you shake from your long sun kissed hair,

That is why time never stands still for you,

Because you too are chasing the great unknown,

Too busy to notice the minute,

The hour,

The day,

Chasing more than the norm,

Bounding up life’s mountain,

And breathing in each upward moment.
